Who We Are
Sky Harvest is a Certified Organic indoor vertical farm in Richmond, BC. We apply new and emerging Controlled Environment Agriculture farming methodologies to grow top quality greens and edible flowers for restaurants and grocery stores, with environmental and social sustainability at the core of what we do and how we do it.
Grown for Every Plate.
Rooted in Sustainable Principles.
From chefs chasing flavour, to households feeding families, to cities building resilient food systems, Sky Harvest exemplifies the future of farming.

For Chefs
We're built for busy kitchens and ambitious plates. Grown in tightly controlled conditions and harvested to order, our selection of 40+ microgreens and edible flowers is delivered fresh, fast, and reliable.

For Households
These aren't just greens - they're nutritional powerhouses. Packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, Sky Harvest microgreens are an easy way to boost your meals.

For the Planet
Sustainability isn't a side benefit - it's our design principle. With 100% emission-free delivery, zero pesticides, and an ultra-efficient vertical farming system, we use less water, less space, and no harmful chemicals.
What We Believe
Fresh healthy food should be grown close to the people who eat it. Shorter supply chains mean better taste, better nutrition, lower transportation emissions and more resilient communities.

How We Grow Differently

Grown in our farm-mixed organic soils, with organic seeds and organic industry processes and practices, delivering great taste, more nutrition and exceptional shelf life.
CEA enables us to grow crops continuously within specific environmental conditions with respect to LED light, temperature, humidity, air flow, and nutrient availability.
Crops vary widely in their water needs. Our irrigation system precisely optimizes water availability and uptake for each crop and variety while keeping waste near zero.
Growing With Purpose, One Leaf at a Time
The Seed is Planted
In 2012, Sky Harvest began as a tiny East Vancouver farm with a big idea: grow vibrant, flavour-rich microgreens for local chefs who demanded freshness, artistry, and reliability. With delivery by bicycle and an eye on sustainability, we quickly became a trusted boutique supplier for fine dining establishments and a solution for grocery stores seeking high-quality, organic greens.
Growing Through Change
When zoning regulations forced us to relocate in 2017, we saw opportunity in the disruption. We moved into a larger facility in Richmond, earned our Certified Organic status, and expanded our grocery partnerships — proving that scaling up didn’t mean sacrificing quality, locality, or service.
Harvesting Impact
Today, Sky Harvest supplies chefs, caterers and grocers with over forty varieties of premium microgreens and edible flowers. Our Zero Emissions Delivery model and climate-resilient growing system help reduce food miles and strengthen local food security — all while keeping kitchens inspired and shelves stocked.
Where Sky Harvest Is Going
Sky Harvest is scaling up to a new kind of food system — one that’s climate-resilient, hyper-local, and rooted in community. We’re investing in new technology, expanding our reach, and pushing the boundaries of urban agriculture. Our goal? To help cities feed themselves — cleanly, consistently, and deliciously — for decades to come.
Founded in East Vancouver in 2011 started harvesting to retail in 2012, Sky Harvest began in a small warehouse with vertical shelves and hand deliveries by bicycle. Our goal is to grow high-quality, organic microgreens delivered within 24 hours of when they’re harvested, zero emissions, no compromise
