What are microgreens?

Microgreens are small vegetable or herb greens usually harvested after the first leaves (known as the cotyledon leaves) emerge. They are used both as visual and flavour components, often in fine-dining dishes. With their distinctive textures, appearance and flavours that differ greatly from their full-grown equivalents, these tiny greens add a depth and freshness to a variety of dishes.

Typical microgreen varieties include arugula, kale, peas, radish, sunflower, basil, cilantro and cabbage. For a full list and description of the greens we grow, check out Our Products.
