Overview
Sky Harvest grows high-quality organic microgreens and specialty greens for restaurants and retail in Vancouver.
Our Richmond based farm is Canada’s first Certified Organic urban farm, and our greens are delivered by bike to local customers.
We strive to be the most sustainable, efficient and innovative grower of edibles in urban North America.
We grow approximately fifteen varieties of fresh microgreens with a wide range of flavours, colours, textures and a high nutritional value.
The Evolution of Sky Harvest
Founder Aaron Quesnel focused his graduate thesis research on the use of rooftop agriculture to move cities towards sustainability. Along with his partners, he developed a Sustainable Rooftop Agriculture Guide, a user-friendly guide to introduce the concept and benefits of urban rooftop agriculture.
Back in Vancouver, Aaron began to map out the path to creating a rooftop greenhouse in the city, and developing a strong microgreen core business was step one.
With a focus on sustainable design, urban agriculture and innovation, Sky Harvest has seen tremendous demand from Vancouver residents for local and sustainable greens and we continue to expand our operations.
